# What

The FEAST Box would plug into amplifier and speakers to create a FEAST Experience with additional features.

A FEAST Box is a small standalone box made with a Raspberry Pi or equivalent that plays sound through a normal radio or stereo (speakers and an amplifier). It also links to microphones to enable recording and streaming radio shows.

In many ways a simple smart phone achieves the same result at more or less the same cost. However the FEAST Box provides other features. In particular it can act as a learning environment and hub for distributing and sharing content.

These additional features would include a built in Sharing Platform featuring: - FEAST Sharing - FEAST Learning

The FEAST Box can be built with a Raspberry Pi.
