Feedback in FEAST isn't the usual quick-response feedback of a phone-in programme. It's the result of conversation between people that is usually face to face, and takes place over time.
It is a slower more considered form of response that may take into account multiple perspectives from a group of individuals, and include the results of research into the subject. We call this form of audience feedback considered feedback.
# Description
In FEAST, people discuss the programme theme together in-depth afterwards, ideally over a meal.
It's a bit like someone giving feedback at a conference, after people have been having discussions in small groups. The difference is that in FEAST the spokesperson gives feedback into a mobile phone. What is said is recorded using WhatsApp or similar software that uses Audio Messaging.
The message that is recorded on WhatsApp is the "live audio podcast" that is sent, unedited, as a response to the programme makers.
